Telarus Partners with Open Door Pub Co

Providing simplified communication solutions, and time and cost reductions

 

Telarus, the national infrastructure-based service provider, today announced it has been chosen by Open Door Pub Company (ODPC), to provide network and fixed voice line services to over 20 of their locations.

 

Open Door Pub Co is a Melbourne based operator of a diverse range of venues including pubs, bars and cafes. Since establishment in 2004, they have built a venue base of over twenty locations, and have recently expanded to Sydney.

 

Having had previous challenges with their technical communication, ODPC started looking for a new service provider. They chose to switch to Telarus’ Premium VPN Layer 3 MPLS solution, which enhances their transit of VoIP and Terminal Services applications to other network services.

 

“Our network presented a technical challenge that our provider was not able to resolve” said Evan White, IT Manager of Open Door Pub Co. “Telarus were able to offer an alternate solution that was attractively priced and overcame all our networking issues”

 

Telarus identified ODPC networking issues and developed a unique solution strategy involving VPN Quality of Service enabled throughout to fixed line voice services.

 

“Our strategic solution allowed ODPC to take advantage of more competitive call rates, reduce supplier contact points and facilitate an additional discount on data services” said Jules Rumsay, managing Director of Telarus.

 

This unique solution strategy, according to White, was largely the reason why ODPC chose to switch to Telarus. “Our previous provider’s customer support structure was lacking” said White.

 

“With Telarus’ in-house technical expertise and high quality of customer service, we were comforted by the knowledge that our network services were secure.”

 

Another benefit experienced by ODPC was a saving of costs and time efficiency White outlined. “With Telarus managing all the communications equipment on our WAN network we are now free to focus on adding value to our customers.”
